Lincoln Memorial Engagement Session in the Rain

A few weekends ago I had an engagement shoot over at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC that didn’t go as expected.  This couple wanted their engagement session in the fall and my September and October being completely booked meant that there couldn’t be any rescheduling.   The whole week I was watching the weather because it was calling for storms the day of the engagement shoot and on the day it was misting and calling for showers around noon.  We all decided that we could make it work and had a backup location in mind in case it started raining a bit to hard.

Anyways, I love shooting on overcast day and the mist and rain didn’t stop up from getting great pictures.  Here’s a few of them.
